Ben started with film photography and fell in love with the magic of the darkroom at an early age. He captured moments with light and perfected his technical abilities in the dark.

Ben's photography evolved with digital photography. He saw the technical possibilities with Photoshop and translated his darkroom knowledge to the computer. Today Ben shoots film and digital with a variety of cameras. 

Ben has a Bachelors of Science degree in geography with a minor in photo journalism from San Jose State University.  

Photography is a way for Ben to share a memory, even one that doesn't belong to anyone. He hopes to bring perspective beyond the radius of your immediate world.  His style is influenced by the environment around him at that moment in time.
